Abstract:
The purpose of the study of the applied type was to determine the improvement of the interpretation of Choral Singing through
the musical program based on the Kodály Method in the students of the primary level of a Private Educational Institution of
Huánuco. The level of study is: Descriptive - explanatory, with experimental design in its quasi-experimental modality. The
population consisted of eighty-four (84) students, from which an intentional sample of twenty-two (22) was considered. The
musical pro-gram was applied for two months to the experimental group and was structured in three modules and nine learning sessions. The observation guide was used as an in-strument of measurement before and after the experiment, for which
it was validated by expert judgment; then, the reliability was determined by Cronbach’s alpha coeffi-cient, which yielded a
value of 0.74 for the dependent variable, with the following re-sults: a significant difference was obtained in the interpretation
of Choral Singing in the experimental group in relation to the control group (tcalculated=7.48 > tcritical=2.01), improving the
technique, intonation, vocal filling and rhythm of Choral Singing.

El propósito del estudio del tipo aplicada fue determinar la mejora de la interpretación del Canto Coral a través del programa
musical basado en el Método Kodály en los alum-nos del nivel primaria de una Institución Educativa Privada de Huánuco.
Por el nivel de profundización es: Descriptivo – explicativo, con diseño experimental en su modalidad cuasi-experimental.
La población estuvo conformada por ochenta y cuatro (84) alum-nos, de la cual se consideró una muestra intencional
de veintidós (22). El programa mu-sical se aplicó durante dos meses al grupo experimental y estuvo estructurado por
tres módulos y nueve sesiones de aprendizaje. Se utilizó la guía de observación como ins-trumento de medición previa y
posterior al experimento, para lo cual esta se validó por juicio de expertos; luego, la confiabilidad fue determinada por el
coeficiente alfa de Cronbach, que arrojó un valor de 0.74 para la variable dependiente, siendo los resulta-dos los siguientes:
se obtuvo una diferencia significativa de interpretación del Canto Coral en el grupo experimental en relación con el grupo
control(tcalculado=7.48 > tcríti-co=2,01), lográndose mejorar la técnica, afinación, empaste vocal y la rítmica del Canto
Coral.
